There are many fine restaurants, antique stores, gift shops, two outlet malls, and a variety of recreational facilities including golf courses and a water park. With nearby Canyon Lake, the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers, activities such as tubing, fishing, boating, sailing, water skiing and scuba diving are convenient to our guests.

The charming Village of Gruene is also a must-see during your visit. Gruene is the "end of the line" for floaters tubing down the Guadalupe River. Visitors will fine more intriguing shops and will enjoy sampling the restaurants, winery, and live music at the famous Gruene Dance Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas - a mere two miles from Das Anwesen.
